In July of 2008, The Source Dance Company proudly presented,
"Concrete and Glass" ... short stories behind closed doors and open windows.
An original dance presentation that examines the many intertwining lives that co-exist so closely within one city.
The short stories follow a series of different characters, some are intriguing, some are loveable, some are detestable and others...you decide!
We see how life in a big city can effect people, relationships and situations.
You'll laugh, you'll be moved, you'll think, you'll question, you'll be inspired!
Choreography by Joanne Pesusich, Alex Pesusich, Jen Oleksiuk, Kelsey Chace, Moe Brody, Chris Dupre, Christina Woodard, Kevin Mylrea, Tiffany Tregarthen, David Raymond, Heather Laura Gray, Shay Kuebler, Brock Jellison, Kim Sato and more!
Please note: Some subject matter is of a serious matter (kidnapping, abuse, cancer diagnosis), but generally the show is filled with many different styles of pieces that have both humour and integrity. All pieces have been created with care and are tastefully performed.
"Concrete and Glass" debuted in North Vancouver on July 3rd, 4th and 5th and in Kelowna on July 14th 2008.
